Piccadilly Sinfonietta: Film & Photography Content Production

Knight Classical was engaged by CityMusic Promotions to produce a comprehensive suite of digital media assets for the orchestra Piccadilly Sinfonietta, designed to support marketing activity around their Winter concert series.

The project centred on a full-day content capture in a central London church, selected for its distinctive architectural setting and acoustic suitability. The location enabled the creation of a coordinated set of performance films and photography assets within a single production environment.

Film and photography

Knight Classical led the filming and photography production, assembling and directing a specialist nine-person production team. The crew comprised a five-person film unit (including director and camera operators) working alongside two photographers and dedicated hair and make-up professionals to ensure consistent on-camera presentation throughout the shoot.

Working with multiple ensembles across a structured filming schedule, the video and stills teams operated in parallel to capture a wide range of short-form performance films alongside portrait and action photography. Studio-level audio capture was coordinated to preserve musical clarity, allowing the resulting films to function both as artistic documentation and as high-quality promotional assets.

Post-production

Following the shoot, we oversaw the creation of a curated digital media library, comprising refined short-form performance films together with portrait and behind-the-scenes photography.

These materials provide CityMusic Promotions with a versatile bank of assets for use across social media, website presentation, ticket campaigns, press communication, and ongoing audience engagement throughout the season.
